Promotion of DISA Gran Canaria Maratón at 38th edition of Amsterdam Marathon

From 18th – 20th October, DISA Gran Canaria Maratón will be in Amsterdam with a stand in Sportthallen Zuid.
 
 
DISA Gran Canaria keeps on promoting, after Berlin, next stop is Amsterdam. Our sporting event promotion team will be in Amsterdam Marathon Expo, from 18th – 20th October, during its 38th edition at Sporthallen Zuid.

Santa Catalina, scene for previous activities and events of DISA Gran Canaria Maratón

From 23rd to 25th January, the organization has decided that all previous events before the race will  be celebrated in Plaza de Canarias, Parque Santa Catalina
 
 
With few months to go before DISA Gran Canaria Maratón, the Technical Organization is making a big effort to make all Grancanarians proud of this sporting event.
 
This will be the 5th edition, and next 26th January 2014, DISA Gran Canaria Maratón work team has a new final exam to show, as has done in previous editions, the big and fantastic human group formed.

Supported by El Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the fifth edition organization has visited Berlin marathon, and next visit  will be Amsterdam, Dublin, Valencia and San Sebastián, as an effort to increase participation of foreign athletes

Next January 26th 2014, will be without a doubt the most international one held until now for the fifth edition of DISA Gran Canaria Maratón, because, through la Consejería de Deporte led by Lucas Bravo de Laguna, el Cabildo de Gran Canaria is making an effort to promote our marathon all over Europe and Spain.

The public fair Berlin Vital was our first promotion, with a great success and great reception, where DISA Gran Canaria Maratón was represented by Noelia Pérez and Pino Kyri

As Lucas Bravo de Laguna said, “We are making a big effort to internationally promote DISA Gran Canaria Maratón to increase the number of foreign participants. That is the reason why we have chosen several national and international sporting events to attract new athletes, and we thought that Berlin should be one of this cities.”

Berlin Marathon, without a doubt and historically, is one of the best showcase to promote DISA Gran Canaria Maratón.

It is estimated that near 150.000 persons have visited Berlin Vital, and potentially the same number of persons who have seen the stand of DISA Gran Canaria Maratón, getting information concerning to our marathon and island, amongst them three world record men: Paul Tergat, Tegla Loroupe from Kenia and Ronaldo da Costa from Brazil.

During the promotion we have made some important contacts, like Travel Club Denmark who confirmed us the sale of 50 packages for DISA Gran Canaria Maratón, in the future editions they will increase this quota.

DISA Gran Canaria promotion team has arrived to Gran Canaria with a good taste in their mouth in this first entrance. The next promotion will be Amsterdam Marathon in October 20th 2014.

Fundación DISA pone nombre al Gran Canaria Maratón 2014

Lucas Bravo de Laguna hizo público que la Fundación DISA será el patrocinador principal de la quinta edición de la carrera, que pasa a denominarse DISA Gran Canaria Maratón.

Lucas Bravo de Laguna, consejero de Deportes del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, anunció este viernes, 27 de mayo, el acuerdo por el que la Fundación DISA se convierte en el patrocinador principal del Gran Canaria Maratón, que de esta manera toma la denominación de DISA Gran Canaria Maratón 2014.

La salida de la quinta edición de la prueba atlética más importante de Canarias será el 26 de enero de 2014

Lucas Bravo de Laguna, consejero de Deportes del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, reunido el miércoles, 18 de septiembre, en las nuevas instalaciones del Instituto Insular de Deportes, con la organización del evento, ha decidido finalmente que la capitalina calle Venegas siga siendo el punto de partida del Gran Canaria Maratón.
