We present the mobility plan proposed for the Cajasiete Gran Canaria Marathon 2019, which is developed around the following axes:

Sustainable Transport
The organization will provide a free parking service for a total of 1,000 bikes. The runners and attendees who desire to use it will be able to park their bikes on the enabled space.
It will be located at the Bingo Auditorio parking lot and will be open from 07:00 to 16:00 on January 27th 2019.
You will be able to leave your bike with us in exchange for a free ticket that will be handed to you at the entrance. When you desire to collect it, just present your ticket and your bike will be handed back to you. That simple, that efficient.

Shared Cars
The organization will enable parking spaces on January 27th 2019.
These will be available for those runners who have previously solicitated them and who have chosen to share their car with three or more other runners on the day of the event. They will be able to enter the Sagulpa Intermodal parking lot (located near the start zone) and will be given a free parking ticket.
This application can be done until January 24th 2019 by filling in the FORM, or in person on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th at the information point situated at the entrance of Gran Canaria Expodeporte Centro Comercial Las Arenas.
Similarly, collection of the shared car accreditation and of the parking validation ticket will take place on January, Friday 25th and Saturday 26th at the same information point.
Please remember that the parking spots will be assigned on a first come first served basis until all (300) spots are taken. Do not forget to register as soon as possible.

Guaguas Municipales and Global (public transport)
Guaguas Municipales and Global, will allow free service to all runners with a number bib on January, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th 2019.

Personal Vehicles
Attending the event in your own car is the least favoured option as the start and finish zones are not sufficiently capacitated for the vehicles of all runners and spectators.
We encourage you to make use of the services we offer. This way, you will be collaborating to create a sustainable event.


The shuttles are a private coach service provided by the organization on January, Sunday 27th 2019.

The cost for this service is of 2.50 Euros and you will be able to hire it upon registration.

Runners will be able to park their vehicles in the parking zones and will travel to the start of the race in the shuttles.

For the return, there will be a “shuttle coach stop” in the finish zone located at the El Rincón roundabout (next to the Sagulpa Intermodal parking lot).

Tourist route
This free service offers a guided tour of the city of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria to the corridor and a companion.


The inscription to the tourist route can be made in two ways:

  • Web. Until Thursday, January 24th, 2019, filling out the FORM.
  • On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 January 2019, at the information point located in Gran Canaria Expodeporte in the mall Las arenas (next to the fountain).

The squares are limited and will be completed the quota by strict order of receipt of inscriptions: first those made through the website, and then the presence. Sign up as soon as possible, don’t run out of your place!


The tourist route leaves the auditorium Alfredo Kraus, and will be held on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 January 2019, in two shifts (morning and afternoon):

  • Morning Shift: 10.30 hours
  • Afternoon shift: 17.00 hours.

It is recommended to be 20 minutes before departure.
